Letters offering comfort, perspective and hope among the tender moments, the quiet questions and the heart wrenching grief bursts which make up the journey of loss, grief and growth.

Welcome to the first Letter for the Heart. I am so glad you are here.

Whether you have found me through a quiet search for support or a moment of courage to seek something more, these letters are written with you in mind.

It is my hope that these letters offer you comfort, perspective and hope among the tender moments, the quiet questions and the deep heart heart-wrenching grief bursts which all make up the journey of loss, grief and growth.

Why Letters for the Heart?

When my world changed overnight, my heart was broken. After the initial flurry of arrangements and intense activity, I was drawn to people and places where I felt understood and heard. I didn’t need to be fixed, hurried or judged …just heard so that my heart could begin to heal.

It is my hope that these letters will provide that for you, sharing reflections, stories and gentle guidance for you, your friends, family and colleagues as you navigate this path towards healing.

I know your heart feels cracked open, the hole feels huge and that is normal. Over time, if you invite in the words and the love, you will begin to heal and grow a life around your grief.

Let these letters be a space where you can sit for a while, no mask, no expectations, just thoughts, encouragement and reminders that you can grow around the grief, you are on the right path and there is light to be found …even if it feels distant.

I invite you to start where you are

Pause

Take a breath

Put the kettle on

And share a moment with me

I’d love to hear from you.

With warmth,

Karen
